Notes from a Nobody

Notes from a Nobody

A Poem by Asante.

Frigid
fell your heart
where it wove together
equal ends arctic and antarctic.

Artfully, I might add.

Love
landed here
in my opened hand
as a minor key piano triad.

Singing t'ward the broken.

Artful way of reflecting brokenness. Arctic and Antarctic, two poles to hold a world together, once magnetized now falling apart.. Like a deflating space, reminds me somehow also of black holes, speaking of collapsing spaces or entire collapsing universes.
The second stanza adds music again, I think if we ought to fall apart, even in a further sense than just love, then accompanied by a melody. I love how you added artfully. Brokenness and hurt is always attended by artfulness
Small, perfect write again. The title spoke to me, how I feel in general. But it's maybe the modesty about ourselves which keeps us being good writers. Take care, nobody. ;) x

I really like this poem. It makes me feel like i can hear the piano playing in the back ground.
I loved the last few lines the most.
Well done!

I appreciate the kindness, thanks for popping in!
I feel the pain you painted with words. Your poem was short but just enough. Slightly bittersweet as I feel like being broken is okay but when you bring poetry into it, the pain and hurting eases a little. Even if temporarily

Emotion, raw and so real it reaches into you. That closing line is a money shot. You are truth and I dig it so much. Starz

Hello Sante, what a sheer pleasure to read your first work, I feel like you were creating something truly magnificent through your word choices... You made love a bird that lands on your palms with mysterious thoughts... The ending was so beautifully done with a superb phrase... Well done mate...

Short and yet so emotional. I could feel the weight of each word as I read it. Beautifully crafted, you surely have a way with words. Always a pleasure to read.
