Revolution In The Air

Revolution In The Air

A Poem by Don Shaw
"

Can you live with your choice? From a watchman with a voice!!!

"
       Revolution In The Air

The Owls fly in by the light of the moon.
Throwing trinkets of wealth, to the circle of baboons.
Watchman on the tower shouting to the sheeple down below.
Grazing on disbelief, and the liberal seeds that they sow.
Shouts of awakening , rumble in the clouds.
Whispers of conspiracy, spoken in the crowds.
History repeating its self , some refuse to see.
God has lifted His Gracious hand, and decided to let us be.
Will you stand for freedom, and fight along with me?
Or will you be a sell out, and tell them where i`ll be?

I wanted to read about revolution in the air because my mother and her boyfriend keep insisting that it is there.
The first few lines threw me off as I couldn't exactly see where this was going, but as I kept reading it took me to where I wanted to go! Well done! Of course I'll fight. Or rather, as my mother insinuates, I'll be in the basement making stew to feed my secret rebel troops.

hahahaha its all good
Oh! Do read my poem, Omni Pro Victoria, please please!! This reminds me of so many, many voices: Jimi Hendrix, in All Along The Watchtower, Kurt Vonnegut with his incisive sarcasm in describing our "enlightened" society, but those voices are just echoes of souls who stand with yours, on the side of truth, and your voice rises crystal-clear and distinctive amidst and amongst them. Yes I will stand with you, my brother.
