Invisible Label

A Poem by O Bubbly_snowflake *

Invisible label

Colour neglects intellect

Money suppresses voice

Gender forgets power

Silencing the unborn flower

Appearance judges one’s ability

Accent neglects capability

Actions stereotype nationality

The world overlooks individuality.

I love the line "Gender forgets power" that is simply put but very true. Sometimes people for get that woman can be extremely strong and men can be hurt. The last line in this poem speaks volumes. I believe each person should be true to themselves and be the best person they can be. this poems speaks of letting the world rule us we should be helping rule the world unitedly.
