#1 Crush

A twisted look at being obsessed with a crush. Partially inspired by Garbage's #1 Crush.

Dreaming once again --almost helpless,

I hold close the bittersweet image.

Your tender and devilish smile,

Locked tightly within my memory.

 

I have watched you closely,

Stalking you within the dark shadows

Waiting for the chance to grab your heart

An oppurtunity to make you mine.

 

Hypnotized, the master of my heart

Violation of my love I've been yearning

Pushing me away with every intention

To bring me back into your twisted embrace.

 

I have become an open book to you,

Unable to resist your jaded gaze

And give up my broken tattered soul

Sell it to the Devil just to have you near.

 

I can feel deep within my soul,

As I try to convince you - we are the same.

Free falling into your perverted games

Fingering the crevice of my thoughts.

 

Willing to die under your spell,

Tearing apart everything that's left of me.

One day you will finally understand, my love
