Out Of This World

Another written for class bit.

Out of this world and into another,

Walking on thin layers of glass

To escape the vast chaos of reality

And be kissed with vast visionaries.

Something of impossibility,

But always possible if you can dream

Iridescent hues and monstrous globes

As far as the human mind can forsee.

Big bang theories, alien-like

Paintings of supernovas and galaxies

Spinning like pinwheels flying in the wind

Spitting and sprinkling glittered dust.

Masters of the vast universe

Lavish the sky with brilliance

Around an astronomical ball of flame

Tiny compared to where it stays.

My words could never capture

Nor could a painter the colorful lustre

Of death, reincarnation, and birth of anew

Something so out of this world.
