The Sound Of Music

My attempt to be creative, for a contest.

Drums beat to the sounds of my heart,

Followed by a voice that gives reason

Emotions swallowed hole, and I understand

As it eases the stress of the day away.

 

With every note, dance like no one is watching

Just swaying to beats and rhythm

Addiction of human nature,

In all the chaos of life, just give in.

 

Speed it up, slow it down

Add a little bit of rock and roll

Fill my head with the sounds of music

So I can let it all go.
