I AM A WOMAN

I am a woman, not a servant nor a slave

call me master of all braves

I am a woman, dig deeper and find my name

call me HISTORY, see that I overcame

I am a woman, I stand strong in thee flame

I breath water to make thee be tame

I am a woman, a man is not a requisite to become one

My glee comes not needing one needing none

I am a woman, and you who know shall now taste 

the aliment which will never be put to waste.

The beauty of a lady is seen in many ways. I think in our modern day of voices vying for attention, power, emancipation and just to be heard that the meaning and good woman have naturally can be missed. We gained much but I often wonder what we have lost. Women and men really do look at things differently, feel differently. Food for thought.
