I see you with your new love
and wonder if it's true:
that she can do the things for you
that I could not do

does she inspire faithfullness
in a heart not true to me?
is she the woman you wanted?
the one I could not be?

do you look into her eyes
and see your unborn kids?
does she get the love from you
that I never did?

does she thrill you
with her touch?
can she tame you
with her smile?
Will she satisfy
the want in you
that I did for a while?

she must be SOME woman
for you married her, not me
she must be the woman
that I just could not be

time moves on and
some things change
but this I know is true...
time cannot ever change
the love I hold for you

I see you with your new love
