My Roller-Tip Pen

My Roller-Tip Pen

A Poem by C.S.John
"

About the Power of Writing

"
My roller-tip pen rolling, tumbling, stumbling
over meaningless words;

touching, sweetly caressing over unsaid words,
scratching, itching them awake,
letting them live, rise and burn.

Destroying, creating, chaos-making.

The power
my roller-tip pen possesses
when the words are seen by the right people.

The force
with which they hit into people's faces when read.

The relieve
my stupid roller-tip pen brings,
when guided right.

Bringing thoughts to live, letting them slip of your mind onto innocent paper.

Author's Note

C.S.John
One of my more pathetic poems, but still I think it's important to know what one can do with the little, at first sight ordinary things they possess.

It's funny to me that you call this poem "pathetic" as it seems so valuable and poignant to me; I do hope you grow to more fully recognize the simple beauty and greatness of it. I love the word choices you make and they ways in which they relate to and juxtapose each other. "itching them awake" yes! Thank you for sharing.
