Wolves

Wolves

A Poem by Cae

I run with wolves
Out to the sea
Where lovers love
And beings be
Wild thoughts
Crash into shores
And we run wild
On all fours
We count to ten
And hide from skies
Darkening farther
Than sun's rise
Wolves howl loudly
At the moon
It's coming, they say
It's coming soon

That's creepy, and I love it. Great flow. The ending is amazing!

a compelling narrative lies amidst these rhymes with an intriguingly mysterious bit at the end that makes us readers wonder what exactly is on the horizon. Well done! Much enjoyed.
