Defeat and Acceptance

It’s been a while since I’ve picked up this digital pen of the modern times and let my emos run wild on a piece of parchment that I know is there, but disappears if I get too close.

Nevertheless, it is there.

The only time this occurs is when Circumstance and Existence collide with an unimaginable force that destroys what can’t be seen or heard or touched, leaving physical destruction to the unfortunate witnesses’ own hands. 

The result is always the same. 

When the dust settles, that is all there is.

Dust, that recognizes itself, but with a little more understanding and acceptance of what it believes to be absolute truth about Existence.

Even when it’s false. 

Therefore, every piece of dust has it’s own warped and distorted absolute truth, and maybe that is why Anger and Greed conceive Hatred, a worthy opponent to all that is good, and time and time again, bringing Existence to it's knees.

Nothing and Silence and Ignorance.

Bliss.


Defeat and Acceptance.

Star crossed lovers.

Secretly elope.

Giving birth to eternal Self-Destruction.


Renewed life that will amount to nothing accept Nothing.

A vicious circle.

Watching the same movie over and over.

Anxiously hoping to see the coveted “alternate ending”.

Here’s a dollar.

Buy a lotto ticket.

The Chance is better.
