Black Lettered War

Black Lettered War

A Poem by Callum28

My views on warfare and conflict.

Black Lettered War:

A flight of delving eagles,

A roam of grounded lynx,

A crypt of blood and salted tears,

Pointless, one thinks?

A single bullet, yet a thousand deaths,

Letters in blood stained water,

Yet more graves for heroic fathers,

Lonely mother and daughter,

Years on with such resent,

Bring out blackened hearts,

Remorceless, crying, dead already,

Lives still torn apart...

Callum you captured great emotions...through a excellenty, greatly, simply designed poem...which is much true...my poem war is quiet similar to of yours....war is a wind of crulality which flows only for one time...but becomes History...it takes the happiness, peace etc...sword is not the way...lovely piece...really great piece...keep writing...
