You have broken me

You have broken me

A Poem by Camisha Lynn
"

inspired by a love gone wrong

"
You have broken me ....
Beyond repair
Disparity is clarity
Lose heart
It beats with no rhythm
Sculpting ice with a dull chizzle
Rough edges
But I'm a masterpiece
Magnificently preserving the pain
Soaring thru sorrow
Like a caged bird released
Where the sun has melted it's glory
And the clouds blossom
No longer will I play possum
Dead
See the stage you in is for actors
And the scripts you read
Made me believe in every word
You breathe
Protagonist
Antagonist
What the hell matters
When the characters is outwitted
By the traits which real life is obsolete
That's why they say...
you are who you pretend to be so be careful whom you portend to be
You have broken me
NO
You have broke -in me
Like a new pair of designer shoes
Worn to seem cool
And get their groove BACK..
You have broke -in me
Now I pay attention to facts
And emotions
Numb to the bullshit
And
The words often spoken
To be a
Relief
Now I know which way to go
Thanks for the the directions
You have broken me
No
You have broke-in me

I like the play on words and use of metaphor. Keep it up.

Could be made into a good song. So many lines stood out.
"You have broken me
No
You have broke-in me"
Love teaches us many lessons. We do become wiser with heart brake and learning disappointment. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
