Nothing Matters.

Nothing Matters.

A Poem by CaraLynn
"

small thoughts on a very big subject.

"
I knew nothing of sense, I've only ever felt emotions.
They pull tight on my heart and weaken me with the strength of their strings.
I've constructed walls of many layers to protect and reject the pain of the pull,
but my walls have crumbled and my heart beats in rhythm with yours.
I've given into the call to your arms and have fallen to the touch of your kiss.
I've been spoiled with the feeling of lying beside you, feeling safe, warm, needed, and loved.
I want nothing less now- I crave your body next to mine.
I hold my breath and close my eyes, picturing everything that matters.
A complex blur whirls through my mind but a solid face of yours appears.
Suddenly, all is clear, and all is calm with a simple thought of you.
So here I am, envisioning all that matters, and all that matters is you.
