The place

The place

A Poem by Carl Drake Barnard
"

This is about a dream I had :)

"

The Place

There is a place

Where my mind always rest

And I have to fight

To embrace the light

I sit and appreciate

The world around us

As your beauty

Enhances my insights

A lucid place

Where I still follow your trace

A place where everyone comes together

Helping me to end this race

I stop and embrace

As you look at me

My soul sinks to the ground

Loving you still

Like your poem "The Lovers of God" there is a continuation of though and spirit here.
My mother always tells me of her rejoice in the gospel. Yet I do understand what she means
she is speaking metaphorically of the bible as a tool of investigation relevant to her case.
Religion means a shared investigation not a shared pathology. Wonderfully spoken my friend.

Well...hopefully that place keeps going for you..
and this is a testament of that euphoria that you have for it...
just has that feel as I read the work...
