The Most Insignificant of All

The lonely ant cries!

For by herself, is very small,

The most insignificant of all.

What can she do to make her mark?

When she is so small,

And not too smart.

Slowly with her head held low,

Feeling the weight on her heart,

An incredible blow.

She walks into her deep dark earthen tunnel,

With all of her emotions pouring on her like a funnel.

Until she sees the great wonders of her home.

The great works her family sows;

And she realizes,

And suddenly knows….

That a single ant is the most insignificant of all,

But when so many work together;

They can achieve all the better!

Wonders of the world,

Things the mind cannot dream,

And the lonely ant,

She suddenly realized the wonders of teams.
