PEACE

PEACE

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

?Can war be ended?

"
                                  PEACE

WHY?

I write poetry calling out for peace.
People tell me it not possible.
War is part of man nature.

REASONS

To fight for oil, land and religion.
To send young Soldiers to fight for unknown reasons.
A eye for a eye world.
Where no-one will win in the end.

Nuclear weapons.

Many places in our world have weapons of mass destruction.
In the past 20 years. The weapons were almost used in vast populations.
Will it take a million screams for the human race to seek peace.

Forgiveness and love.

Israel threatening Iran.  When the lamb become the bull. Who is the lamb?
USA took down a strong and powerful country. Iraq.  Who won this battle?  A region in
dismay because of a hateful man name Bush.

Guns cannot create peace. Conversation and knowledge of history can fix problems.  Men with greed as
their purpose will lead us to a bad death.

Today world is centered on hate, revenge and death. No-one can win.

My final question?

Do you want your child to die in war?
Do you want to watch your son or daughter to march off to war and fight for religion?
To fight to change a old land set in their ways.

I believe we must defend our borders.
USA had not been attacked by another country since WW2.
Terror like countries to attack for no reasons.
Make them have purpose and value.

Go after the terrorist directly.
No winners in wars fighting ghosts.
Need ghosts to find ghosts.

Pray for peace.
I don't want to be the Grandfather taking his Grandson to deploy for war.
Do you want to send your child to die for undeclared war in too many places?

you make some very good points in this piece, and I agree with all of them. War is useless, peace is what we need and until we have it, it's pointless. only attack if you are defending. great write Coyote. :)

Very thought provoking questions, people sometimes take all these things for granted especially if they have never directly been involved or affected. Keep sharing, great piece.

You ask wonderful germane questions. If we look at history it is true.
War is in man’s nature. Sad, but True, and I do so hope and pray mankind
wakes up before “screams” are ever heard.
No one ever wins in these horrid situations.
The last question is so easy for this Mother’s heart ~ NO,
but it would have to be my adult children’s choice!
Well done once again my Friend! ~ 100

Peace, that elusive dream. Why we don't have it? Those in power want it for their own dark reasons. There is plenty of blame to go around.

I needed to read of peace today... such pain and horror hate and war bring us all... it knows no victors... You've given us so much to ponder... so much to pray for.
