Blue eyes

Blue eyes

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just words. A re-writer written in 1984.

"
                         Blue eyes

A blue eyes angel is crying for me. Once we held, love was life. Life was love. The turmoil of life turned a kind love to a  chaotic love. Once a paradise of burning emotions turn to place of decision.

We have learn. Love can create a strange prison. I hold you too tightly and I don't hold you enough. The fine line of give and take, held on by a few words.

I tried to speak softly. Not create a wall of hate and regret. When the fire of disappointment overtakes the days of loving and romance. Old lovers must remember when love was new and when love was the only need.

I brought her close and I told her. I want this nightmare to end and I never wanted you to feel unwanted. You are my only gentleness I have known and my reason to be alive. I love your blue eyes and gentle smile. I know without you. My sweet dreams will turn to nightmares.

I brought her close and I whispered. Let's not fall to regret and hold me close. Let's find the energy of the days when your kiss and your embrace was my only need.

Beautiful woman tears stopped and she asked. If you love me. Be sweet to me, make me feel as I'm the only one you need.

I kissed her and I whispered. Your will is my will. Your love is what I need and want.

Love bring love.
Kindness bring kindness.
Some words should not be spoken.
For unkind words can break a heart forever.

Ah, when the kiss and embrace was all you needed....those days are often gone when youth vanishes. Still, we can remember. We are, though, mirrors. If we are treated with love, we reflect love. Unkind words breed more unkind words. Again, your words are a pleasure to read. Lydi**

Thank you dear Poet. You are very kind.
I don't know how to express to you how much I absolutely loved this. On the technical aspects, the flow was amazing. Nothing felt awkward or out of place. Also, I liked how your poem told a coherent story. It wasn't just an emotion, it was an event. I loked reading the ups and downs of your love, and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more!

I'm divorced now and your poem brought me back to those days when I wish my husband had the wisdom you displayed in this very touching piece of work. For me, words are easier spoken in the written form, and many of us are that way. We tend to be able to write what we feel much better than how we're able to actually say it. Thank you for sharing this.

I agree. Letters on paper, easier to express. I wished I held more wisdom when I was young. Gift of .. read more
There were a few grammatical errors (such as, I believe "chaotic" would fit the first stanza a little better than "chaos"), but overall, I loved this. It's a lesson to take to heart and conveyed in a gentle but stirring way.

Thank you for the help and reading. I do appreciate.
If the love for one is so strong then the friction we can sometimes encounter can be overseen and we can continue to love. Let love be free and let us feel love the way we feel comfortable.

Loved this and thank you
