My Ojibwa prayer

My Ojibwa prayer

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

We must find the road to peace, even if one by one.

"

My Ojibwa peace prayer

“I burned white sage by Lake St. Clair,

I asked the lake, the sky, the earth and the green.

Please heal my world,

please send the caress of calm to New Zealand,

please help the people who lost everything.

Please stop the bombing of Syria, Yemen and the Palestine.

Is a acre of land, worth a hundred dead bodies?

Please spirit of life and death.

Teach our leaders,

every life had value,

water, earth, sky and the trees are gifts for us from nature,

please teach our leaders,

room for everyone,

room for every living creature.

Today we accepting war as norm.

Men been fighting since the beginning of time,

how many must die for us to  learn.

No-one wins in war.

Please teach our leaders,

Illegal immigrant is a hateful words.

All of us are immigrants.

We are upon the earth for a second.

I am burning sage for the sake of peace, love and kindness.

Please pray with me

Amen Coyote! This is a beautiful prayer for peace that is so relevant and so needed now. “I burned white sage by Lake St. Clair. I asked the lake, the sky, the earth and the green. Please heal my world.” There are no better or more spiritual and compassionate words that can be said. God bless you for always giving us prayers to say and love to feel through the heartfelt, personal poems you write my friend. You touch our hearts, minds and souls. I am honored to be able to pray with you. Again and again, Amen.🙏

This is the reason you are one of the most beloved writers on this website. This is one of the best ways you've said this & I love you for saying it often & in many different ways, all the time. (You can never say this too much). But this time you are really shining. It feels like you are reaching even deeper into your heart, filling this with deep poignancy (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

In the end Andrew. Every life had value. We are different and we the same.
The Ojibwa philosophy has much to teach mankind and us as individuals. This is a veery moving piece Coyote John, sensitive and timely as we all struggle with the senslessness of the massacre in New Zealand and suffer for our Muslim brothers and sisters.
