Jackson, My Jackson

Jackson, My Jackson

A Poem by Cecelia
"

My beloved "Furry" child who fills my heart every day...

"
I know you must have the soul of a dove,
You’re always purring and cooing with love.

Then there you go, tearing around the house.
That’s your sister stupid, there is no mouse.

Come on! Get your foot outta my plate.
I put out your food, and you just ate.

My keyboard! Lo
ok at what you’ve written!
You’re testing me, you pesky kitten.

Your fur so soft rubs against my leg.
I’m putty, can’t resist when you beg.

You know you are spoiled! What do you want now?
I’ll give you some milk…. not buying the cow.

You look at me with soft golden eyes,
OH! Whatever!..No limit!..The skies!

I smile reading this, I always feel my spirit lightened knowing of bonds created between species...we are all equally alive, I feel this when I make eye contact. Pets can be like children.

That was brilliant thankyou, it realy cheered me up. Where would we be without our cats. We dont own them. They own us!

I loved every one of my kittys. Now...I have a dog named "Jackson" who is as sweet and naughty and furry as any kitty cat. I enjoyed your poem Cecelia.

My oldest sister (the world's biggest cat-lover) would really love this poem. I like cats, too, but am much too short on patience to own one, although I've tried many times.

people can say all the negative things they want about Cats , all I will say for now is , only a Cat lover knows the feeling ~
