I Am the Next Full Moon - The Chosen

I Am the Next Full Moon - The Chosen

A Poem by Neva Flores Smith - Changefulstorm
"

I am the next full moon and I have chosen you....................

"

I am the next full moon and I have chosen you

To dwell on high with me
While all the world sighs below our view
The atmosphere will glow in kind
When our faces here
It sees

The earth will sleep leaving all in our care
While we count slowly to ten
Laughing as clouds pass by in our air
Seeking to hide our eternal glow
Chased over rambling hills
By a fickle wind

You are the next new star in heaven’s skies
I have now chosen you
To be the foundation on which I glide
I will wrap you in silver feelings
Until you become the sun
And say adieu

This has to be my favorite because I love the moon.. We are in a Full moon phase right now.. I always lay in bed with the curtains open and hope it's light fills me up for one more month.. :) This blends the energy of the night with day perfectly.. xx

This has a mysterious feel almost mythical. I love the silver rays of the moon. I find the night time one of mystery and beauty. The imagery is stunning in this piece and I love the last line.

your titles are so beautiful and alluring and your writings their equal, wonderful imagery used and your words leaving bright, clear eyed pictures in this readers mind, marvelously done

I found your words very moving, invoking the celestial orbs to illustrate the potency of feeling.
As above, so below.
Your quill has a graceful touch,
I enjoyed this very much.

Such a lighthearted and worded poem. The words and happiness in the poem bounce off the screen and speak to us. I especially liked the lines:
"I will wrap you in silver feelings
Until you become the sun
And say adieu"
A beautiful write! :)
