(Alice Wonders)

(Alice Wonders)

A Chapter by Jaded Mermaid

In the night crickets chirp,

star dust twinkles

and airplanes pass,

animals growl and the

woods are kidnappers

with candy in a van.

Children with fear go in,

adults prepared come

out with a nexus tan.

~~~
The river sounds dig the
grave of Alice Wonders,
the wheels turning in her mind
trust nothing, curiosity kills her,
she'd rather build
the already knowing sender-
war decoding misty render.
~~~

In the day of dwelling

birds flock to say good mourning,

sunshine peeks from behind a cloud

but rainy tunnels pressure scorning.

~~~
Laugh at me bulletin,
surely I'll laugh at you,
now we're talking a figuration.
Watcher eyes twirl the piano,
music in my head defines contemplation.
~~~

The swallows of peril candles dim,

Alice declares a main event and

she'll get what she wants,

chances of something

stopping it are slim.
