The Beauty of our Hope..."Carson Hope Reilly"

The Beauty of our Hope..."Carson Hope Reilly"

A Poem by Cree Nations
"

Her Mother, Kimberly Ann Reilly, her older sister, Addison FAITH Reilly, and her twin sister, Tanner JOY Reilly grieve her loss continuously. They are choosing to face life with Hope in their hearts.

"

To My Sweet Kim,

I tried several times to find the words, but they just weren’t there to be heard.  I listened quietly, and I cried out in anger.  I think that’s why I couldn’t find them.  I love you so much sweetheart.

This is for Kimberly, Addison and Tanner.

I see the moon and the moon sees me

And I ask myself, ‘how can this be?’

There was so much she was meant to see,

All the words she will never read.

She brought great beauty into this life,

A light within that shined so bright.

Not even death can dim her light.

Our lives are better by having her in it

And now Eternity is her limit.

Such a privilege is a Mother’s gift

To give birth

To one of Gods precious treasures

Here on Earth.

She named one Faith, another Joy

And then gave us Hope.

 We took for granted

The length of time

That we’d be given

Before God took her back to Heaven.

Yet she is here in each of us

We see and hear her still.

We hear her voice…in the words of a song,

Her touch is in all we feel.

Love in truth knows no bounds

And can be felt in a simple sound.

A tinkling bell  -  a chirping bird,

The sound of Hope will be heard.

She is a living presence

That fills our hearts.

And a Mother turns with Faith to Joy.

What a beautiful, heart-rending poem. I hear the pain you express over such a tragic situation. Nothing could be worse than losing a child. I respect and admire you for writing such a beautiful tribute to her, filled with strength and determination to go on without your precious daughter. She would appreciate your continuing without her, your deep love, and keeping her in your heart and soul.

This is truly a tribute to the loss of a child, life's greatest agony, I think. Are the Reilly's friends of yours? I'm sorry; at first I thought this was your child??
