Peeling Apples

Peeling Apples

A Poem by Fabian G. Franklin
"

:)

"

Peeling apples

Such a simple thing

Slicing away the core

Then I hear

YAY! Apples!

Thank you daddy

I love you daddy

From behind my chair

Little arms reach

Around me in a hug

And suddenly kisses

On my neck

And peeling apples

Doesn't seem

Such a simple thing

Anymore
