Mariah

Mariah

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

...and they call the wind Mariah

"

Mariah, is the wind going where she wills

Wooed by the moon and by the sun she is trailed.

From the heat of the day she gives sweet relief

While the sigh of her breath sets smolder a blaze

Gentle zephyr settles on a droplet of dew

and with one breath more a gale will pursue.

She cradles the shadows and bursts through the light

Mariah is unstoppable don’t even try.

Well of all people I'm glad to see you like it.
A delightfully entertaining piece that flows like a soft melody within the heart, while painting a vivid picture within the mind's eye ...

I thought this image looked like Mariah C also, and had it not been for you, I might have wrote of her...but what you did with that was BRILLIANT! I could not top the concept.

Wonderful share, Thank you!

Thank you I enjoyed giving her a voice.
Just like Mother Nature her offspring can be unpredictable... good then bad and back again.
