With Wonder

With Wonder

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

10 word contest

"

Gentle rain so softly fell.

When winters sheer shield crumbled.

Bitter ice is now a puddle.

Master of humor this old gray squirrel

disturbed from his slumber.

Hurries up his tree to gaze at spring’s creation

with wonder.

Thank you for your entry into my first 10 Words I Give contest. Love your natural imagery, as I love to be in nature and enjoy the antics of squirrels. Adorable poem!
