With Wonder

10 word contest

 

Gentle rain so softly fell.

When winters sheer shield crumbled.

 Bitter ice is now a puddle.

Master of humor this old gray squirrel

disturbed from his slumber.

Hurries up his tree to gaze at spring’s creation

with wonder.
