A Moment SharedA Poem by Cherrie Palmerthe moon and sunAbounding Moon hoovers low
Veiled in a lacy fog
Like a bride she waits
As the sun doeth rise
gentle light crests the sky
Blending night’s shade
In a salmon and mauve
A moment shared is all they own
As sun and moon across the horizon meet
And with the waking of the day
the Moon shall sleep. © 2016 Cherrie PalmerFeatured Review
