Nature's Chalice

Nature's Chalice

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

the beauty of morning

"

Once again, morning is made over.

Again and again it comes.

Its repetitive nature,

most predictable, and true,

but if you take the time to meet each day,

you’ll find each day new.

Graceful secretes unfolding

accompanied by the, Red Robin’s waltz.

Translucent, skies unfolding,

nature’s, perfect milieu.

I never grow weary of its beauty

or sense Déjà vu

and I drink, from nature’s chalice,

for simplicity, is what keeps life new.

Your poem is a gentle reminder to appreciate the natural around us each day. We (or some of us) are so busy trying to save people, I think we forget to appreciate the strength we can get from humbling ourselves and remembering we are part of a lovely new day brought to us by nature. Cheers!

To behold and appreciate the wonders of nature. You hold up the mirror for us to reflect on all that she offers. Nicely done and thanks.

Take care - Dave

I do the same dear Cherrie.

The above lines. True and wonderful. I love the forest, the sea and the mountains. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

I totally agree with the last sentiment. Taking nature for what it is and can be is a fountain that renews us each day. Very strong work and I am glad to have read it. CD
