A Valentine's Bless You

we can't always be well on this romantic day

Somehow,  a card finds its way to each pillow. 

Resting between  Kleenex  

instead of Russell Stover’s. 

No wine to hoist a toast 

Just toast and juice shared between a 

blown nose.   

A bless you here and a bless you there. 

And a NyQuil induced nap will leave us here.

When I was a kid 11 and up my dad was a believer in the hot toddy.
Oh how I hated them. Now on the other hand I find a good bourbon and earl grey a great combo.

Thank you, I almost back to normal. I thought I was going to escape the flu but after two weeks of everyone in the house being sick it's bond to happen.
