Forever And A DayA Poem by Cherrie Palmera pledgeSweet wine and roses red . Memories made of gold, chisel lines set in stone. A pledge by us is made, One of forever and a day. These words we spoke on our wedding day and a million times along life’s way. A final pledge comes too soon and again from the heart I say to you; take my heart and hold it near and soon we’ll set by the living stream watching waves of forever crash into the Crystal Sea. And when for us the Heavens part . Roses red and Heavens wine seal a toast made on high. A pledge by us is now complete as forever and a day becomes more than a promise made. © 2011 Cherrie PalmerAuthor's Note
