A Trip For The Soul

A Trip For The Soul

A Chapter by Cherrie Palmer
"

it's Fire's fault her poem made me think of this

"

A trip for the soul can always be made

No reservations or pamphlets displayed

You need not to pack or take off a day

A moment of silence and you are on your way

To Greece you may go or a childhood treasure seek

And a trip for the soul might make you weep

Tears of remembrance or laughter’s of joy

But it’s well worth the price and will send

Your spirit high.

that was so good Cherry dear..
God if thats what you talk about ,then i am always away on a trip that never ends
its this foolish mind that never stops wondering how i got here so i always go back to where i started
and its many places where i started, too many sorrows ,sadly few moments of joy here and there
was it always fair ,its cruel to say,i never was..i worked so hard ,sometimes life just will not give you much
actually takes even more..but i will not complain,i did it all the right way, this much i can say
and yes times spirits go so high i even wonder why..great write ,you gave me tons of thoughts on this
lovely write..

This is so amazing! I love the way you rhyme! It makes me live in your poems and experience what it is trying to express. Awesome!

I take these kind of trips often while nothing stronger than caffiene runs through my bloodstream. Such is way of the imagination. A good one, Cherrie.
