The Dance Of The ButterflyA Poem by Cherrie Palmer10 word contestA quick twirl of the ball n step left me without breath. The pattern of light in front of the window fed my imagination to create, as I continued to sway and move with the violin. My senses were alive while a butterfly did float by alongside my chiffon, making me giggle with glee in the tea-room that makes my heart sing. I laid bare my soul as I danced with all my might. And slumbered in restful dreams waiting for the morning light.
