From Yonder WIndowA Poem by Cherrie Palmerthis is for Ron's contest, an entry from down SouthA splash of tea and a taste of jam While I gaze out yonder window.
Cool misty day laid low with fog. Slowly reveals a meadow of green, laced across with sheep so white, and the shepherd’s dog watching close by. A Morgan does prance across my view, while my thoughts wonder of my trickling stream where my line can hover with fly in tow and I might catch my supper.
