Royal Slave

Royal Slave

A Poem by Frontier

So he called him, and he came in

She herself publicly confessed it

“I did so and I do so”

Mr. Would-be king

Houses, Land and Money

the history of this Royal Slave

skins of prodigious snakes

extreme, modest and bashful, very shy,

diet of bread and water

“Look what this a*s is doing! Curse the beast,

you are not coming on board”

Those who want slaves, or Fellow-Citizens of the deep

Rising and Roman

African and flat

Such ill morals are only practis’d

In christian countries

An eternal idea in his mind

He was therefore no sooner got into his apartment

Those burdens where no illusion,

Perceptive faculties at least,

Deluded into imagining himself a beast

To understand a thing, is to

suffer something

Ill morals are practiced by all peoples, not just christians, killing women and children in the name of God is immoral, and actually harkens back to the 1400's you speak of and takes place now! How do we sit by.....?

To understand a thing, is to suffer something. True for any creature of any age

Thag last line is a killer, life is suffering, just great stuff that is on a different level here, you should be proud of the fact that you have found such a unique voice and have such command of your craft, just fantastic stuff!
