Dance to spring

Dance to spring

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner

Play your winter tune

I shall dance to spring

Ashes will fall

Charcoal to stain the feet of innocence

Her face, a mist of lies

Cloud of illusion

I knew at first I did see

Symmetry

There can be no other path

No steps to change our course

Play your winter tune

I shall dance to spring

No love lost, nor found

Yet hope and direction

I knew at first I did see

It is meant

It must be

Hmm, Love how the write denies love...to exist.
None lost nor found means none ever existed..interesting.
The season's, winter and spring and fall...but where is beautiful, warm summer?
I don't know, this write feels political for some reason...like a document if you like.
Great writing and most enjoyed..thanks.
