Once upon...

Once upon...

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner

Once upon a fairytale

In a mind not far from here

A lost and lonely maiden

Found a gentle ear

She proceeded to attack it

With tales of woe and strife

And failed to see how it bled,

And how she sucked away it's life

Once upon a fairytale

In a mind not far from here

A selfish and ignorant maiden

Thinks she has paid dear

On and on her problems go

Not a one gets solved

Around her ankles fall her victims

Abandoned, left for dead

For these are the many

Who've heard all that she has said
