I'm Still Hanging On..

I'm Still Hanging On..

A Poem by FrikinFrancesca
"

This poem represents my feelings towards my father, Even though he is gone. I love him and I am still hanging on.

"
You're nothing but a dream now.
A image, A memory.
Appearing in my head.

I wear your picture in my locket.
Around my neck it lays.
The memories burn away at bay.
When your soul lived wild,
When I was but a child.

The laughter we shared.
Back when mom really cared.
Before the dark times,
You shined like a new dime.

I'll really never forget,
So, Let me speak my goodbyes,
of my one long regret.
