Suffocating

Suffocating

A Poem by Miss Lucy Zven
"

I wrote this at a literary thing at my school today. I got to read it to a published author and he thought it was good!! x]] Jaime Adoff! He's really, very nice.

"

The stares crush me.

The giggles follow me.

Suffocating.

My face feels warm.

I want to run.

To hide away.

Clenching my fists,

My heart stops momentarily.

It begins again, pounding.

I can't take it.

The whispers and laughs.

Pointing and sneering.

I hear their words.

They know I can.

I walk away.

Tears suppressed.

Suffocating...

This is really very good. You paint a picture, very visually so, that takes me right there with you. Good job.
