semantic satiation

A Poem by Chloe

semantic satiation

i hide myself within you

i found myself without you

i lost myself within you

i find myself without you

myself wanders your Self

i wonder if you are yourself

selflessly

your self fills my unguarded mind

until it spills over

to my everywhere

do you wonder about myself?

because your Self seeps

deeper and deeper

wandering

you drain further into my body

filling my veins

pulsing through

a lost, selfless brain

wondering

where

is

My Self?

Amazing poem! My favourite part is the ending. It is so simple, yet so effective. I'm assuming that the lack of punctuation and capital letters is purposeful as it reads perfectly. It's a really well written poem and it shows clear talent :)

The poem is perfect. Feel like a powerful jazz song taking the reader deep into passion and fatal/sweet ending.

The above lines. Good place to know. To find place where we can know peace and forget who we were. Thank you Chloe for sharing the amazing poetry.
