GoodbyeA Poem by T. L. O'NealGoodbye Written by: T. L. O’Neal To the one I loved How do I say goodbye When you left I thought I would die It wasn’t all your fault And it wasn’t all mine But you’re the one who left And our hearts were untwined One family became two As if by some unseen hand I would have made it right If I could command But there’s no fixing This broken union All I can hope Is to lessen the friction With this I must say goodbye Though my heart is still sore I hope we can still be friends Or for me you can ignore
