Everyday Realities

Everyday Realities

A Poem by Chozen1

Pain and fear is what I see in those eyes
He don't really love you when will you realize,
You have to see the real lies through your real eyes,
Black, blue and purple don't match your skin color,
Let me get you some help maybe you can go see your mother,
Don't continue to make right of this His wrong,
If he you believe his lies then you won't live long,
Knowing deep inside that your afraid to call the police,
These beatings will not stop and I don't wanna see you deceased,
Blind forever remains the many who hoped he would change,
Do some research those before you was beat the same now ain't that strange,
Love should not come with bruises and tears,
This is one scare that will take forever to heal I mean years,
If you suffer from abuse and crying for a second Chance,
We must unite as one helping those in need and take a Stance,

Beautiful with a powerful theme. I really like the poems you've written so far. They each carry a strong message and convey it in a very creative and tangible way. The poem is real, and easy to relate to, and it's also well written.
Well done and keep on writing!
