Whispers in a world of words. . . !

Author's Note

Christina May Shanaberg
Our words will always pale, when compared to the greats; I love Robert Frost and Edgar Allan Poe! They are the Dr. Jeykll and Mr. Hyde whom inspire my writing!!!

Originally, written as "Just a whisper in a world of words. . .Christina!"

I had to cut it down for the six word contest; however, it still seems to work and say just as much!!

Powerful saying! Whispers sometimes carry more weight that words that are shouted. We each contribute our own whispers, weaving a palette of color - muted, dusty, bright, and shimmering. Words are beautiful, even when they describe filth. The power of the written and spoken word....

two of my favourite writers although completely different to each other.
We says to me we have something in common
Although I much prefer rhymed and metered poetry I can appreciate anything that is written well

This poem sure opens the eyes of people who can comprehen what this says. Words are the most amazing thing in this world no matter what they say. Whether it be used to describe romance, kindness, a word of advice , or it be to describe the repulsiveness of how our world is today. They have so much more meaning that what sort of context they are used in. Its the fact the whether it be good or bad the English language is the most beautiful form or writing or speaking there is.
By the way Mom I love you very much. This is my way of showing how beautiful the English language can be.

The best words spoken are the soft whispers we have to listen closely to hear :)

A profound message mingling here for writers.. Yes.. words can sometimes be lost in the vastness of them... and in comparision to those who have words lingering long after they're gone.. Exellent.

Profound indeed Christina. The whispers of the greats will always be there in the background no matter what we write.
