Bam Bam or Hercules

Bam Bam or Hercules

A Poem by Christina May Shanaberg
"

The perfect man!

"

Bam Bam or Hercules

I don't want Bam Bam or Hercules;

Will you wipe my nose, when I sneeze;

Will you clean up after me, when I spew;

Then, the guy I'm looking for is you;

I promise that I won't always be sick;

I want someone through thin and thick;

I'm not interested in any muscle;

Can you hold up in hustle and bustle?

I don't want Bam Bam or Hercules;

Never want to see you upon your knees;

I want a man whom can hold his own;

Someone special I can depend upon;

Would you help me out, while I cook,

Not just someone standing by, for a look;

I want you to become a part of my life,

Making me your very all, your wife.

I don't want Bam Bam or Hercules;

I want a gentle man who comforts me;

Love is a two-way, very cluttered street

And I will never rest, at your tired feet;

If you think that you want all that is me

And can trust me to roam and be free,

Then, we should no longer tarry,

'Cause I'm that girl you should marry.

I do!

Any man would be happy with a woman with the desire wanted in the poem. Need two people with the same desire of being happy and taking care of each other. Love is a two-way street. Need to find a place where two people are at peace with each other. Thank you for a excellent poem.

I CERTAINLY hope that "My perfect Man", appended to a picture of Arnold the Great, was meant with tongue DEEPLY in cheek!!
As a man who tended to the needs of a chronically ill woman virtually every month of our 119-month marriage, THEN turned right around and married another three years later, I can strongly identify with your need for a partner and a caretaker, as well as whatever other benefits a man can provide...AND receive! Your poem is very tender and heartfelt, and it struck a core nerve with me.

This is very clever. When I'm a discouraged married mom of two beautiful kids..I could relate to every word. Well-penned

Marvelous. I never read anything quite like this before. It has everything I need to have a good start at my morning. Thanks for sharing.

I would be perfectly happy with the sauté of the onions, choosing the wine,
I'd be your Rock, your ivory tower,
In our throne of home, we would share the power

This picture looks like Arnold Swartzenager and I don't think you could even trust him as far as you could see him. Good luck on finding the man you describe but I wonder if he is here on our planet or maybe an alien. LOL

This is awesome :) Love the "Bam Bam" reference and photo :) And how true, all the things a woman could want in her ideal man :)
