How Do You Cook Caviar?

This may take some basic explaining about my life; however, it is worth it to share this moment.

After five years of an on and very off living arrangement, which was three years ago, my ex-ex boyfriend told me that he had been fooling around with his ex-wife, which put a definite halt to our wedding plans.  I appreciate that he was honest, but I didn't appreciate what he did.  Somehow, my anger about this subject was what he feels caused our breakup.

This was not dissimilar to my ex-husband, whom wouldn't work and wouldn't take care of our children, while I worked.  My ex-husband told me that the reason that the one of my two work cars that he drove, always, had the passenger door unlocked was that he saw somebody he knew and gave them a ride.  I was all about career, then, and accepted that.  However, I later found out that he was entertaining another woman, on my hard earned money, while I was sending our children to daycare and going to work.  The woman he is with now.  I hope they enjoyed the free ride!

Isn't it refreshing to be revisited by the same monster?!

Though we have been living separate, for the past three years, my ex-ex boyfriend still tries to maintain a very on and off crazy friend type of relationship with me.  Occasionally, asking for intimacy, but being refused.

The most recent refusal is what I want to relate to you.

On Sunday night, he advanced upon me, yet again.  I refused, of course.  He had not contacted me since, which was a daily contact thing before that.

Then, he called and asked, "How do you cook caviar?"

Well, that spoke volumes.  He would not go near the thought of caviar, when he was on and off with me for five years.  After I had refused him the last time, he had found himself an expensive lover, whom he wanted to impress.  After he had told me, a few days before, that there had never been anyone since me.

It's like someone told me, long ago, "If you let them talk long enough, they 'will' hang themselves."

The only thing that I hate more than a liar is someone lying about being your lover!

I guess the funny part is is that he went to several quarters of culinary school in Nelsonville OH and he told me that he thought caviar was "fish eyes!"

everyone knows that caviar comes from cavorting caveats that crave (usually each other)...now, cooking them means first catching them, then boiling them in hydrogenated garlic juice for three days (to make sure they're dead)...after that it's anyone's guess...as far re-cycling ex's, that's also anyone's guess...mine is that an honest friendship is an honest friendship, and anything else is a weight on our soul, which we can be smart enough to carry, or not...i'm an advocate of the clean break

I believe in a clean break if a person makes your life miserable. An honest friendship can make you happy. Loneliness sometimes is what you thrive on instead of moving forward in your life. Misery sometimes loves the wrong company and seems not to know how to move on. Maybe volunteering to help deserving homeless,
veterans and their familys or read a story or poem to someone in a nursing home or
help in a food pantry. This might bring great rewards and hope to a lonely heart.
