Wait for me

Wait for me

A Poem by Cierra Bailey

Wait. I didn't want you to go

Was it something I said?

You never told me

Wait. I just want to hear your voice again

That soft laugh. Those bright eyes

Your warm smile. Welcoming arms

Wait. I just want your kiss again.

That taste on my lips

Forever knowing that you would be there

Oh, Wait. Make me laugh once more

Hold me through the night. Be there

Be all i'll ever need

Wait. Please don't go

I don't want you to leave

I want you here with me

Please don't leave. Wait

Wait for me
