One Life

When life gets you down,

Point and laugh at it.

When someone does something terrible to you,

Say, "Adios!" and be done with them.

 

There is no point in plotting revenge,

There is no point being upset over it.

You only have one life,

Are you going to waste it thinking about 1 issue?

 

Dearest friend,

Do not let little things like this waste your time.

Life is too short to be upset about this,

Life will move on, only if you let it.

 

Open your mind,

Lift up your heart.

Believe in the positive,

Damn all the negative.

 

You only have one life,

So live it well.

Do not throw it all away,

Simply, rebuild it.

Sometimes you can't do this though. You must consider that with some people one thing will go wrong after another, a never ending cliff of negativity that just ruins everything. When this happens, those people become distant and you have to reach out and embrace them to get them to come back to reality. Depression starts with one bad thing happening, it could be the size of a meteor or come as a pin prick. Though the message is good, it doesn't always pertain to life. different people view small things differently. Some people say death is just a small thing, that when their loved one dies it is fine and life moves on. Life does move on but it will take time to recover. Good Write.
