A Manifesto, A Crime, A Stand

A Manifesto, A Crime, A Stand

A Poem by Charles R. Ciminokii
"

A little free form poetry, class was pissing me off so I did this instead...

"

We sit here in the brutal lies of man
in conquest of love, wealth, and power
Do we sit here or make a stand?

Most sit and watch,
saying something to no one
and doing nothing all together

Those who do something aren't praised
they are shunned for having free minds
They are considered taboo

for they think and act outside the box
where everyone sits and whines
It is time for change, time for action

Set you're mind free

Think of new ways, of new ideas
Through different types of medium
For even if no one picks up on this

while you are still breathing
someone, sometime, somewhere
will see your message and it will change

Their entire state of mind.

Who am I? Well thats a story within its self to be honest with you. Who I am isn't truly as important as to what I want to do, correct? I am an aspiring renaissance man in which I am not just a writer.. more..
