Why do you torture me so?

Why do you insist on toying with my emotions?

Do you enjoy messing with my mind?

Is this some sick, twisted game you play with everyone?

Am I here only for your amusement? 

Something to pass the time 

Until someone better comes along?

Jealousy abides me

Your words misguide me

Your actions mislead me

As I lie there hopelessly 

Curiosity provokes me

The way you tease

The way you please

Your lies enamor me 

You have me fixated

Unable to break the spell you've created

How did it come to this?

I tried to give you up

But I'm addicted

Asphyxiated by your lies

And yet I play along in your torturous game 

Like the stupid girl that I am

You make me sick.

Being in a destructive relationship brings such heartache and anguish.........you have written such an emotional piece, trying to break free, but can't. So sad.........because it is like torture, and soul destroying.
