The Blood of the Lamb

The Blood of the Lamb

A Poem by Life Is like Trust...It Kills You
"

How can we forget the one that died for us?

"

Why do we take you for grant?

All we think is *finish the day.*

One day we will grieve.

The day we leave our evil life.

We need you,Lord.

Why are we such animals?

 How come we forget.

If you died today where would you go?

What happens when you're next in line to the golden Gates?

 What will he say?

 Whatever you say I do.

 Whereever you go I'll follow.

Whenever everyone else forgets I'll remember.

The one who died for me.

Life Is like Trust...It Kills You
What will he say to you when it's your turn at the cross? "Well done." Or. "What have you done?"

I am as irreligious as it gets. A practicing agnostic, but I can see how moving this was for you to write, therefore any comment I may make is by the board. It is strongly written and with great passion it conveys a wonderful potimism. Cracking job

I like what you are trying to do (point us in the way of the divine), but to be perfectly honest, this poem is a total turn off. The language needs to be more secular, then build to the divine. Draw your reader in, and then turn on all the lights.

I accept not being religious but being spiritual I guess is enough
this poem, though short reveals a lot of thoughts regarding divinity

I love it! I'm so glad we have such a loving father because I am a horrible screw-up so this is really awesome to me :) Good Job.
