A Poem by Cloudless

What you want isn't my love
Nor my being.

What you want is Love
In its essence.

In the purity with which
You first fell.

You who love deeply easily,
Hurt greatly over so little.

Your eyes that searches in mine,
That which you lost in someone else
So long ago.

When will you know
To stop and start anew?

When will your soul stop searching in mine
What you have lost in yours?

While I pick up my pieces,
You look away from her.
As though a last form of consideration
For me.

With her exit, I entered
With mine, she enters.

Love, don't look away
Don't hang on.

-This is our end-

Like this. One person can see the end, and probably should have walked away. But the other is still under consideration. But when two people sit together, and eyes stray to another. It's the beginning of the end. I take it, the date was the end.
